I am Expecting a Bundle of Joy!

I am happy to announce that me and my husband will be having our first baby!

We feel so blessed! We found out we are expecting a baby girl! She is due in January on my late dad's birthday. I know he would have been very proud to be a grandfather and I know he would watch over us from heaven!

I hope everything goes well and I can't wait to meet her!

We are busy preparing for her arrival! As first time parents it will be a learning experience! I will still keep you posted with my sewing creations, but just a warning that you might see more baby stuff! :)

Life is Good! :)

    How happy I am for you and your husband! I am a OB nurse and so I think having babies are the best (I am also a mother of 5). Take time though to rest---your days of being able to sit and do nothing will soon come to an end :c)

    Congratulations on your new daughter! I have two daughters and having girls is wonderful. We have so much fun together. Two of our nephews will have babies in the next few months. I am working on quilts for them. It will be fun to see your baby things.

    Zlaty - Woohoo!! What wonderful news :-) Being a mother is the best thing I never knew I wanted to do... does that make sense?? Growing up I just never felt "drawn" to have kids, thought I'd do the career thing, but after I got married, we did decide to have kids, and I've just loved being a mom - really, being a mom will fill your heart with joy & love beyond words!

    I hope you're feeling well & not having too much nausea.... take care & so glad you shared your special news.
