Fall Quilt Festival

I have been traveling with my husband this week, but I want to join the fun of showing one of my quilts at the Fall Quilt Festival that Amy is hosting again. Today is the last day so I am very excited I am able to join!
It was hard to pick a quilt, as we quilters love all of our quilts, but I settle on my Welcome Quilt!

It's hanging in our living room to Welcome all of our guests to our home.

I hope they feel very Welcome. I am working on a couple new projects, but I wanted to show a quilted one. This was my second project I did a free motion quilting. I am really pleased with this quilt.

Life is Good ....Fall Easy Stripe Table Runners

I have a good news to share! I got my driving licence! Very excited for me, I went on my first driving trip to the grocery store by myself. I also got good news at the doctor's office. I had to have a mammogram done and after all the worries the doctor think it's just a swollen lymph node. It's such a relief!

I found "Easy striped table runner"pattern designed by Karen Montgomery on a trip to Pittsburgh. We stopped at the "Quilt company" shop and the owner designs fabrics for Timeless Treasures, she design the pattern, too. I picked up these fabrics she designed.

I wanted to show you my fall table runners:

If you look carefully you will see that this table runner is different from the first picture one and the picture below. It's the same fabric. Just by changing the way you cut the fabric it looks very different.

The pretty candle holder was a gift from my lovely hubby!

I love the pattern and I am addicted to it! I made couple of table runners already.

This is the back of the Fall table runner. I just love all the colors!

My friend Heather is learning to quilt, this is her first project and she did great job! We decided to exchange runners from our fabrics. You can always use more runners!

Fun Day Friday!

Last Friday I met my blogging friend Tammy! We had a blast as we both love to quilt and talk about it.

Tammy is very charming and talented! Please visit her lovely blog here. She surprised me with a gift, one of a kind tote that she made and not only that but she design it and wrote the pattern for it! I wish we lived closer for more fun days! She has a quilting group and they meet on Mondays so her posts are Fun Day Monday, so I borrowed her title.

Tammy is advocate for PCOS, the teal color fabrics represents ovarian cancer and disease. Please help her and others by signing this petition to Congress, here.

As Tammy kindly suggested the tote is perfect for fabric shopping. I really needed that fabric when I took my new favorite tote on a shopping trip! :)) I love the inside of the bag, too!

This is the pattern for the bag, so I can make my own version of the bag! That will be great for gift or I can always use more totes!

The Coffee Quilt

Here it is! Finally pieced. I tried to take picture on the floor but the quilt was too wide, so I have seen people take pictures on their frames and that worked! The next step will be start practicing with the frame and quilting it!

The borders took more time then I thought, but it's worthed! It was my hubby's idea to add blocks on the corners.

I was thinking that I didn't make a mistake in the whole quilt and here I did. Thankfully it was very easy to fix!

I had to think how I want my top border to face and I decided to face all the mugs up, so it doesn't spill the coffee! :)

I had fun working on the quilt and I am excited is pieced!

Autumn Decorations and Quilt Show

I love this Autumn arrangement! We got it as Anniversary present from my brother-in-law. Bret made it! He picked apples and oranges and made that branch into a heart shape! Thank you Bret is lovely and very thoughtful gift!
