Gabriel's Alphabet Quilt

I made this alphabet quilt for my nephew Gabriel's 2nd Birthday. I think it will be fun for him to look at all the animals and help him learn the alphabet.

I remembered to take pictures before we shipped the quilt to him. The quilt is wrinkled because I washed it.

Here is close up of the quilting on my frame. I used a dragon tail panto that was fun to stitch.

Here are some of my survival flowers since it has been hot. Today is raining so we got some much needed rain!

As always, happy sewing!

Zlaty, I love the alphabet quilt you made for Gabriel. It will be a nice way to learn the animals, like you said. Is that your DH holding the quilt?
Pretty yellow summer flowers! It is so hot here and my flowers are not doing very good.
Have a good weekend!
Hugs,
Millie

He'll learn all the alphabet and somehow play with the animals. Wonderful and beautiful

Lovely bog you have.

Precious quilt, he'll LOVE it! Our flowers, this summer, have fried rather than thrived.

What a fun quilt! Most of our flowers are doing ok in the heat - which is really weird for us. I guess they're getting more shade than normal.

What a FUN quilt you've made! I love the colors & the quilting :-) Do you like quilting pantos? I have a love/hate thing going on with them. I avoid them because I find them boring, but they do look nice!

And our gardens look like jungles -I'm not sure why w/all this heat & lack of rain. Maybe being by the river helps w/humidity I suppose??

Hope you have a great weekend!
