Easter in Bulgaria - Velikden

This Last Sunday was Easter in Bulgaria -Velikden. I miss spending the holidays with my family. I have a big family, lots of relatives and friends. Everybody gets together and eat and have fun. My Mom sent me a video she took of my sister Rossy, my cousin Mariana and my nieces Anelia and Valentina and other people playing a typical Bulgarian Dance called - Horo. They had a live music downtown Dolni Voden, Asenovgrad where I grew up. The quality of the video is not very hight but I still enjoy seeing it :)

Cool Quilt Fabrics

There is a new quilt shop downtown Philly called "Spool". They sell more modern fabrics with bright colors. I picked up few :))

It's funny that the store next door is called "Loops" - they sell yarn. As Scot noticed Loops is Spool when you read it from the back.

I always love to go to Philly. There is the first apartment where we lived with Scot and we spend our honeymoon :)) We had the greatest view of Delaware river. We used to walk down to Super Fresh on South Street to do our grocery shopping and then walk back with heavy bags. Shopping for veggies and fish at the Reading Terminal Market. I missed our midnight walks down to the river. I love that city!

Antique Shop Treasure

We Found this "Treasure" in our local Antique shop. My Husband bough it for me because it goes with my sewing room team! Thank you Scot! :-*

Mikey's Pillow Case

My sister in-law Katy is having a baby. Mom made her a beautiful quilt, so I am making a pillow case for the baby and I got green sheets. Katy's favorite color is green, too :))

I didn't want my older nephews to feel left out so I am making them pillow cases, too. I am embellishing them with embroideries. How fun!!!

I got not too long ago an Embroidery Machine - Brother 270D Disney Edition. I am still learning how to use it ;)

I finished Mikey's Pillow case - it's in his favorite color Blue! I hope he likes it! I also finish Aiden's but I can't find my camera. I will post a picture of his later!

Purple Tulips

I am very happy that the purple tulips bulbs I plant last fall came out this Spring!

Aniversary Flowers

I love the wonderful flowers I got from my hubby for our anniversary last September. I want to have more color on my blog so here you go more photos! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as me!

My Wedding quilt

I would like to share a picture of my first queen size quilt. I am very proud of it because I did most of the sewing and all the quilting myself . The fabric was a gift from my mother in-law for our wedding. She and her friends Melisa and Trisha and Mom Mom helped me to start it and I would like to THANK YOU all of them!
