Flintstones Quilt

I made "Flintstones Quilt" for Alice! She just turned one and probably does not know who the Flintstones are, but I am sure she will soon! We were invited to Alice's party that was circus theme party! It was a lot of fun!

I love that backing fabric with big flowers. I added a green stipe.

I like the open style quilting design I picked for her quilt. Aren't those hearts so cute!

I hope Alice will have a lot of fun playing with the quilt!

Update

I received many compliments on my Halloween quilt! Thank you!

Seems everybody that doesn't have the little frame wants one! I got the frame from my MIL shop "Happy sewing room". I asked her and she said if you send her an email at hapsew@comcast.net she can order it for you. You also get 15% discount on your special order, tell her Zlaty send you! ;-)

I plan to make a quilt for each month and I can use the frame all year round!

Have a great day!

Halloween Quilt- Done!

I just put the finishing touches on my Halloween Quilt! The quilt is small, I think 12'' by 12'' but it has a lot of details.

Here is a view of the backing. It has a lot of micro-stippling around the pumpkin and letters in the center.

Another view of the quilt.

It's very hot lately. What better to cool down then a homemade smoothie. It has a banana, ice cream and strawberries. I used strawberry the way my Dad always loved to eat strawberries. Cut and sprinkled with little sugar. The strawberries make a wonderful flavored surrop!

Here are some of the latest blooms in my garden!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

Machine Quilting - Leaves

I would like to show a quilt I machine quilted for my friend Stacey. I used a panto with leaves. I think it adds to the garden theme.

The quilt was my LQS BOM last year. It is a very pretty quilt! Well done Stacey! I hope you like my quilting!

The quilt has both a lot of piecing and aplique. Stacey didn't want stitching over the aplique so I tried to go around where I could.

I used the same leafy panto to quilt this quilt for my mother-in-law. The quilt is a part of a set of two quilts, because this quilt is leftover from the big quilt she made. I have to quilt that one and I will show you!

It is a very pretty quilt and it looks like my mother-in-law. I hope she like the quilting. I already saw she is done with the binding and I will have to take a picture to show!

Have a great day and stay cool! It's hot here!
